Just varnishing to go! Phew!

By Jove, I think he's done. Finally! Now I have to varnish him. This bear is being sponsored by a company called Biomass and they've given me some special varnish that is supposed to keep my bear free from bacteria - apparently they are going to go round the trail swabbing bears to show how their product keeps mine so much cleaner! LOL

He's a bit gozzy, poor bugger.

I enjoyed doing the snake. I'll have to look up which one it was supposed to be. All the creatures are endangered and South Asian, though they might not actually share a habitat with the Sun Bear.

It's hard to photograph him in the living room - the light isn't great and you can't get far enough away. I'll have to get some pics when I go and see them both on the trail!

He looks awesome! The snake is definitely my favorite part!

And this varnish stuff sounds so weird. Is it really important to have art sculptures bacteria free? LOL

Apparently it is to them... they tweeted that my bear might be the first antimicrobial artwork!!
