Since I forgot I signed up for writing and art, I didn't have a fic ready in time, so this is my only deanwbigbang post. Hope y'all like the art, I'm sure you'll love anactoria's wonderful story!

I have two apologies: First, I'm timing the post so won't be able to add the story link until Sunday, so just check the DWBB comm! Story link is HERE ) or click on the banner.
Second, I'm sorry I didn't do more art for this one. I did the banner ages ago and then other stuff piled up and this one got put on the backburner, until I nearly missed the deadline altogether! Doh!

And a kind of spoilery main picture (though unless you read the story it won't make any sense, so it's fairly safe to look at it before reading).


Process stuff:
Banner - I drew Dean in pencil, then constructed the rest in PS. I used an old engraving disection of a skull and head, and added the Mark of Cain to symbolise its dominance inside Dean's thoughts and motivations.

The second pic relates to a scene towards the end of the story, so I won't say what the inspiration was, as this would definitely spoil things! But due to time constraints, I drew and coloured it all digitally. The background is a photo of a medical journal I found using a google search for inspiration. I'm still not sure about the colouring, but I fiddled with it too much already so I had to stop some time.

Dude, despite the fact that you wanted to do more art for this, the artings you've completed are GORGEOUS!!! That second pic is just so ethereal and scary and just stunning :D I've never seen anyone pull off that kind of colouring and still make it look whole and solid and tangible. Wonderful.

I realised I keep coming back to look at these, but have not left a comment! So I'll just reiterate how much I love them. ;) I agree with everything milly_gal said about the second pic -- it's really unearthly and creepy, and I love Dean's kind of entranced but freaked-out expression there too. ♥ ♥ ♥ Thank you so much!
