Some other stuff I did...
I tweeted Michelle Obama with gardening tips, which I'm sure she appreciated no end.

I registered to donate my organs (which I thought I'd already done, so it was a good thing I checked!)

I turned Kevin Tran into a My Little Pony and Osric kindly retweeted it.

I made a silly video - our alternative CNN end of the world broadcast

Oh and I made a zoetrope and tried to film it - it's a conquistador riding a giant tortoise but you can't see it very well in the vid! Worthy of note here - I discoveered that the black paper I used to make the drum had been hanging around in a drawer since 1976. I hope Misha appreciates that I finally found a use for it!

Well duh! I totally thought I had friended you, and I hadn't! (this happens to me at least twice per year.) Now it's fixed!

Love the art on your Zoetrope. I went pretty quick/cartoony, but I also printed them out. I started drawing ,and then though … wtf? This tortoise is only two fricken frames, why draw him 20 times? That way I could colour him too. :D

How did your spin? Mine was on a stick, but yours looks like it's in a little spinny holder???

I was going to make a spindle thingy, but then I was looking around the house and found a Cadbury's biscuit tin with a slightly domed lid and had a eureka moment!

It's funny, you think you are being really inventive and coming up with some clever idea, then afterwards when everyone starts sharing you find tons of us had the same idea!

Oh girl - not only did I see you live - so to say, you've although done incredible art-work - totally loved it! Obama and his daughters will be so grateful for your gardening advices to Michelle ;-) And the end-of-the-world-video? LOL - sooo cute. But the zoetrope (huh - is it a kind of Laterna Magica?) took the cake - just AWESOME. Who's the band playing in the background? And how did a conquistador riding a tortoise cross your mind? Maybe you planted some interesting other stuff in your backyard? Tell me more :-)

This is what GISHWHES is all about - weirdness! The conquistador wasn't out of my brain, it was on the list and seemed easier than trying to do the iguana catching a frisbee...! Glad you enjoyed our efforts! This was just a small sample of the 111 items my team manage to complete. :D
