This was a fill for this prompt by madebyme_x over at ohsam's triple play challenge - it's potential morbidness was hard to resist, so I didn't!
Warning: major character deaths
The three points were:
1. A field of wildflowers
2. Dean
3. It's time to say goodbye

Sorry the wildflowers ended up looking more like autumn leaves, they did start out more flowery-looking.

You can thank dear_tiger for the pose and the idea; I took this from a Norwegian TV show she recommended! Though that scene was two cute teenagers stoned and cuddling, not dying, but that's the Winchesters for ya.

Oh this is perfect! I do love that pose, and the feeling of closeness with a hint of tenderness to it, and the idea of going out together is more perfect than it maybe should be. I adore the colour palette of the blood and colours of the flowers in the field. I'm so thrilled that the prompt inspired you, and hell yes, I love me some morbid bittersweetness, and this hits all of that plus so much more.

Love the composition and the brushstrokes you used to cover them with the flowers (I think it's mostly the colours that make them look like autumn leaves, but it works both ways;) Sam's hand in Dean's hair makes me sigh and I adore how their faces fit together. <3
