Here's the pencil drawing. Nowhere near as good as I envisaged of course. Dammit. Apart from getting their faces all wrong, the anatomy ain't the best either. Apart from that it's great. Huh. At least I got to try out my new 9B pencil.


Those of you familiar with the film will probably recognise the source photo I was trying to capture. I love that picture.

Oh wow! Your work is always so wonderful. This is so atmospheric and er…yum! I haven't heard of this movie - and you say it features brothers? Sounds like my thing!

Someone recommended the film to me a while ago and I watched it reluctantly because I thought it would be a bit like Rocky or something - but it's so good! I'd really recommend it - and yes, it centres around two brothers, and their messed up relationships with each other and with their Dad.

I'm trying to write a SPN version but am probably not doing the film justice.
