References- I used a screen cap of Sam when he'd been shot by Roy and Walt, and one of Mary where she was hugging Dean in Dark Side of the Moon. For the post I used this statue.

I don't recognise the sculptor, I found the photo on deviantart. Edited to say, stripysockette was correct, this is the Passion of Christ (which could make this Veronica I think, not Mary) from outside Notre Dame de la Garde, Marseilles.

This is beautiful - love the imagery and the tenderness (always a sucker for Mary/Mary parallels also).

I'm about 90% sure that that's the Passion of the Christ from outside Notre-Dame de la Garde, no clue as to the sculptor though!
