I want to do something bold and loose but always seem to gravitate back to detail.

That's perfectly lovely. I particularly like the hands -- Sam's on Dean's shoulderblades, Dean's ready to grip the covers.

I think no color, maybe? I really like it as is.

Thank you! The reference photo was such a lovely pose... it screamed Sam and Dean to me...
