Insmallpackages - Tribal rabbit banner gift

Someone in insmallpackages asked for "art- a "tribal" design of a black rabbit that I could use for my icon or a banner on my page".
So I did this drawing (black biro on paper),
I photographed it then played with various effects. Of course I can't decide which one looks best.
Plus I tried an icon but I think this probably doesn't work very well as there are too many lines in the original drawing to work when it's shrunk down so small.

So here are the banners
#1 using a texture adrenalineshots gave me ages ago

#2 which is a sharper effect using pareeerica's rainbow spirits texture

#3 using the same texture with a different mode

#4 using the same texture again

And the wee icon which I could have another go at if the giftee wanted.
Oh and if the banner is the wrong shape/size I can fix that too - and add words if wanted.  No probs.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!! I AM FREAKING OUT!!!!!!

I'm sure it wasn't hard to guess that I was the wisher on that one, I totally didn't read the part about it being anonymous.

BUT THIS IS THE BEST. Absolutely, absolutely PERFECTLY what I had in mind. If you scroll back through my journal, you can see my tattoo, and your art looks like my tattoo came to life.

My favorite one is the one on top, I love the tone and feeling of the background. The Blue one too.... omg, all of them. I still have to figure out how the heck to set up my journal, so I probably won't get around to putting them up until the new year when the kids get back in school.

Wow I like how you draw the rabbit! I like the last blue one best because in Chinese mythology and literature the white rabbit is often associated with the moon :)
