He gets WAY super-realistic with his inking (too much, in my book) but you might enjoy looking at his stuff and stealing some ideas. I really like what you've done here!

Awesome, I love the swing in the long coats, especially in the drawing.

I am so chuffed people think the drawing works!

I love the wallpaper manip, but the drawings are just absolutely fricking gorgeous!! Love the lines and the details to the clothing as well as the poses, if I had time to take a breath I'd write a story for that.

First, as far as the art, I absolutely love the ink style you used here - the details and representation of textures is superb. Also, the color and texture of the 'paper' (I'm assuming that's a digital texture) is just perfection.

Second, just the visual concept in general... I can't even begin to express my love for big boots and robes, capes, trenchcoats or anything with flowy grandeur. So much wonderful movement and just a lovely combo of beautiful and bad ass.

Yes indeedy I love digital - although I ended up only using erase once it just gives you that extra confidence knowing any mistakes you make are redeemable! That texture is a set of cardboard and papers I got somewhere - I'll see if I can track it down it you want to grab them too.

And thanks very much for all the kind words! (Thigh high boots, flowing capes - hell yeah!)

amber1960, this truly is gorgeous. Jared's face is stunning, but the details of clothing and weapons - and the texture of fur and cloth - are so beautifully done! Really, really love this image, it's absolutely superb. Bravo!
