I mean, how could Jensen resist, right?

Watercolour and ink, not much to say really! Go read the story and smile.

Process was simple. Sketch it out, try different compositions, fix one one, draw it on watercolour paper, paint and ink it. Shazam!
Rough sketch, initial idea. Eek those faces though.

Reposition things so it looks like a better composition (I think) and ink the outlines

I tried an under-wash of a warm ochre yellow for the figures, not sure it was necessary.

Thank you! I had meant to layer it up more to practice with my watercolours but I didn't want to lose that freshness.

Pretty! I especially like the style of doing those complex ink outlines filled with watercolour for the pink blossoms.
