As some will know, things have been a bit hectic for me lately, but I wanted to crack out two scenes in particular, so I'm happy I managed to do this one today. The art is illustrating specific scenes but I don't think it's too spoilery. Both scenes are NSFW!

Of course I couldn't resist a dash of hurt, nekkid Dean.

Process blurb
The banner is a small watercolour I did as a practice in my daily Moleskine sketchbook, and it turned out well, so I thought it would make a decent banner. I drew in pencil, painted the watercolours then added some black outlines with a Pentel brush pen.

Dean being stitched by Sam is pretty much the same process, though because the figures are small, I wasn't as confident with the brush pen.

The scene with nekkid Sam crawling all over Dean started off as a pencil pose study in my sketchbook and worked better than I expected. So I coloured it with coloured pencils rather than try and draw it again on watercolour paper.
Here's the graphite sketch before the colour was added. I was really happy with Dean's face!

That banner is breathtaking. You nailed it with the watercolors (which are a pain in the ass, in my opinion).

Like anniespinkhouse, I love that you mirrored the scenes with each one more exposed than the other.

The cover is absolutely dreamy - Dean's expression, the colors. And then you went from dreamy to steamy (I did not intend to make a bad rhyme, but steamy is the perfect word, lol). With Sam between Dean's spread legs (even if he is stitching him up, that bottle placement is very suggestive) and then stretched atop Dean. Their bodies are gorgeous!

Oh, Amb, you have truly outdone yourself here. The banner alone is stunning, like something out of a dream. The emotion in Dean’s expression, the life in his eyes, the beautiful colors of the background ... my god, woman, it’s beautiful! I could quite happily stare at that piece all day.

Then there’s all the nekkid!Winchester deliciousness in the other pieces, mmm! Love the poses in both. In the one where Sam is stitching up Dean’s leg, I really like how the red of his blood is repeated in the background — such a lovely touch. (And the positioning of Dean’s bottle is such a naughty, fun one.) The bed piece has such a dynamic feel to it — like there’s some wrestling for control going on there. Fantastic job!

Wow! Gorgeous, sexy artwork! And I love the tension in Dean's body as Sam stitches him up, with his stiff shoulders and hand clenching the bedsheet. The scene where they're making love is so beautiful, I love their expressions and the way their hands are holding each other's wrists. And you know I', a sucker for Jensen's freckles and eyelashes, which you've captured perfectly in the banner art. I can't wait to read this one!
