I was dead lucky to fall in with sprinkles888 for this challange - her fic is not only full of Sam, it's got loads of lovely imagery of all kinds. I was spoiled for choice!

Tha banner was the first and main illustration I did, but then I squeezed in a couple more. They aren't spoilers for the narrative, so you can view without fear.

This is supposed to be looking inside Sam's duffel (in case you were wondering).

Thanks to sprinkles for her patience, I was a bit all over the place with this one.

Process is pretty simple this time - all the art is all traditional. The two illustrations are watercolour with a little digital added (some highlights and shadows on the car scene, and the background on the campfire one). The divider was drawn in ball point pen and then coloured with watercolours.

Beautiful art! Sam's hair is particularly lovely...so soft-looking and messy! I have absolutely no idea what this story is about, but I'm certainly intrigued now. :)

Aaaaaaaaaaaamb these are so gorgeous!!!!!! Sam's face is amazing, the triceratops looks so sweet and soft, the gorgeous sky over the campfire, everything is so lush, the details are so perfect. This just blows me away. <3

These are absolutely magical! I aboslute love the campfire scene, it's so amospheric! And Sam's just so pretty in profile.
AND TH E TRICERATOPS IT'S THE FUFFIEST CUTEST MOST SQUISHABLE TRICERATOPS IN EXISTENCE AND I JUST WANT TO CUDDLE IT!!!!! I mean, Sams really well drawn, and I love the hair, and the shadow boys at the campfire are genius, but the triceratops is the real star of the art, everybody knows it.

Oh, Amb, that banner is darling! Love the triceratops (such a pretty colour) and Sam's hair is so soft too.

That fire pops out of the purple dark, awesome composition.
