OH GOSH this is adorable. And beautiful! The fabric lines and the shading, the way their arms settle on each other just so, Sam reaching up so high to hook his fingers on Dean's shoulder... <3333

I found a reference photo with that pose and had to use it - I love how Sam's having to stretch but he's going to do it however uncomfortable it is. Glad you liked it too!

i may or may not have a made a noise of squee so high-pitched only dogs can hear. i mean, OBVIOUSLY "united" should be a weechesters pic. i love how recognizable they are even from the back, just from their hair. and any pics where sam is shorter make me happy, because it's so hard to picture him as wee, and he was so cute when he was.

I'm not especially good at art crit, but I do like the softness of the fabric, the simplicity of the few strokes for blades of grass used to indicate direction, and the misty look of the horizon line trees. There's a nice sense of motion, and Dean's attention on Sam, Sam's stepping in unison and stretching to keep that hand on Dean's shoulder.

Oh my goodness, this is so beautiful! I love that they are in step, Dean's arm around Sammy, and the way Sammy's arm has to stretch up to Dean's shoulder. Awww!

Oh, I love this! As grown men, any such scene would be one of them helping the hobbling/injured/sick brother. But as kids... it's just Dean being his usual comfortable mix of protective and affectionate. And Sammy wanting to do everything exactly the same way his big brother does things, stretching his arm to mirror Dean, trying to match his stride...
