Inktober Day 1
I just found out (a bit late) about this drawing challenge called Inktober. There seem to be several prompt lists so I might try some different ones, but this is the 'official' one from the guy who started it off.

For today I tried Fast. Yup, predictably, though it's not SPN, it is geeky. LOL

I thought I'd try doing this in my sketchbook along with my course work but the paper isn't great for ink, it's a bit coarse grain and absorbent. So I may have to use a different book for this one.

Zoom
His mother messing with yarn behind him would let out the occasional frustrated noise.
"Mommy, can I go to the Stars like Cap'n Kirk?" he asked earnestly.
"Well, we don’t have ships like the Enterprise, yet. Maybe we'll have them by the time you grow up. If we can land on the moon, surely zooming through the star isn't far behind," she said encouragingly.
Dean smiled and bounced as he envisioned zooming through the stars with the crew of the Enterprise.

(For the record, I love Star Trek and can very easily see Mary watching it while attempting to knit.)
