Padaperfumes...

So for JIB and or A16 I had this idea for a photo op with Jensen and Jared featuring their own branded perfumes. I'd designed Moose Musk and Squirrel Fart (Noisette...comme un pet d'ecureuil = nutty as a squirrel's fart) coats of arms to be the branded logos, and I'm going to do up a couple of boxes to look like there are wonderful manly smells are inside them for the two of them to hold in the photos. But then I thought that they'd be too small and won't show up in the photos, so I've now done a couple of suitably man-magazine-type perfume adverts to hold up. Which means I'll have to do these in single ops instead of the double I was originally thinking.
I dunno. I'm thinking I'm nutty as a squirrel's fart myself now.

Those are awesome! I love both the designs on the bottles and the magazine ads. Are you getting autos, too? Because I still like your original idea - I mean, perfumes often come in ridiculously oversized boxes anyway (especially the gift boxes that tend to come out at Christmas time) - maybe you could figure out a way still to put the logos on boxes for the boys to hold/model in a photo, and then get their autographs on the magazine ads instead? Whatever you decide, and I'm excited to see the results, and I'm sure the boys will get a kick out of it! XD

Thanks! I have my rock poster for the autos (plus I'm getting an extra Jared one on my poster from last year as that one is incomplete due to him having to go home early). So I won't get these signed this time. I went to my local Superdrug and a kind girl gave me a selection of the boxes the sample bottles come in, so those are what I'm using, decorated up accordingly! Still got to do that though.

I think I may have misunderstood you. You are still planning on getting photos with the boxes then? That's really too bad that you'll have to do individual photos instead ;) *more time with the boys, right? win!* How nice that you've got actual perfume boxes to work with! That should make the process a bit easier at least :)

Yes I was thinking I'll get them to hold the boxes while I hold the posters (hence using the single photo ops...though thinking about it, I could still do it in a double I suppose though I usually get so flustered having to ask them to do anything maybe keeping it as simple as possible is easier!

ha, yes. Getting flustered, it is the way of the J photo op ;) Plus, if you get them individually, you can tell them, "I also made one for [other J]" - maybe that'll be enough to challenge them to want to out-do each other in the pictures, see who can be the better perfume model ;)

It's fine to bring them, save the postage. I will have one of those mini travel sewing kit with me anyway (and I have a white beanie I was thinking one of them could go on that). Though I am excited to see them! :D
