In the presence of another world - summergen art (again)
Another summergen inspired picture - and I think I am procrastinating. I should be writing fic and instead I am playing with other people's words. Oh well.
This was from a scene in the fic In the presence of another world. Dear anon author now revealed as
indiachick, this is for you.

The process:
I used a Season 4 promo pic and have tried to age Jared a bit so he looks a bit more Season 8-ish, and I've also tried to give the effect of the glow of the flowers reflected on his face and clothes. The background is two textures - one is by pareeerica on flickr, and the other by sirius_sdz on deviantart. I found the flowers on google images and cut some out then duplicated them in different sizes and combinations to make a field of them. I've overlaid everything with a home made canvas effect to give it more texture.

These summergens have been so full of lovely language and imagery haven't they? I'm loving it so far - and now I have my own gift-fic to illustrate too!

*flickr is not letting me see it right now but I have it in my Pinterest folder, can I embed it into my story when I put it on my journal?*
Thank you again, you're totally made of awesome!

I've updated my post and changed the link to photobucket so you can grab the HTML code from there if you want. I was only using Flickr because photobucket wasn't letting me upload anything but that seems to have just exchanged one set of problems for another!
