Lots of swearing

Oh feckity fickety fuck.  I was wanting to get on with some artings for my casestory author today, but I've only done a couple of hours and my eye has gone totally gozzy and I can't see to do stuff.  And it's fecking sore too.  Balls!!!!

Eye trouble is awful for anyone, but it must be particularly frustrating for artists.

Is there anything that helps? Witch hazel?*

*most of my ideas about remedies come from vague recollections of 19th century literature and are probably therefore really bad ideas.

Ha ha no, it's shingles, so all I can do is up my dose of antivirals (well until the doc comes back to me about the possibility of getting this shingles vaccine that is being introduced here in September)

Oh, bb, I'm so sorry. D: GET ON THAT DOCTOR! Does he/she not know how important this is to you? Keep bugging until you get a reply.

And eat those antivirals by the handful, if you must!

Thanks, I only saw the doc yesterday and she doesn't know yet if this vaccine will be available on the NHS for under 70s (they;ve announced they are introducing it as standard for over 70s in September). I will chase her in a couple of weeks though, don't you fret!

Oh balls and bitches and assbutts!
Hope it feels better soon and that the doctor gets her finger out and gets you your vaccine :(

Ta babes - I ended up finishing the pic because I couldn't stop but one-eyed isn't the best way to get things right LOL!

Blast and damnation.

I know you said the doc doesn't know if the vaccine will be available on the NHS for the under 70s but if that turns out to be the case, I suspect you will probably be able to buy it as with the flu vaccine.

It seems unfair that you would have to buy something that others are getting for free but if it worked, it would be money well spent. Fingers crossed that your track record allows you to qualify for the free version! In the meantime, I hope your current problem doesn't hang around too long.

Cheers m'dear, the double dosing every three hours does usually seem to do something - the trick is remembering to take them at the right intervals!
