Fic rec - The Accompanist (with fanart by me!)

I recently found this fic by Gretazreta and loved it so much I made this picture as a kind of book cover...go read if you haven't already!

Notes:
The fic is about Dean at 18/19 years old, making friends with a Holocaust survivor and his nephew, and eventually becoming entangled in a series of monstrous murders.  In this reality, Dean has a real intuitive talent for music and for playing  the piano that is by necessity - unrealised....
Hence I've used the still and promo pic from Dark Angel (the still being Alec playing the piano in the basement in the Beresford Agenda...).
The other 2 photos are from Flickr, the background is by pareerica, also on Flickr.

Who's the cellist? He fits very nicely with my mental image of James.

The cellist was actually a woman but I tried to alter her features so she looked more masculine. Her name is Sigrid, from a group called Savoy Truffle. It was a pretty cool photo (here on Flickr if you are interested http://www.flickr.com/photos/sarrelibre/2739214471/)

Wow, nice job gender-shifting the image. Very subtle! Oh, and I meant to say that your choice of the younger Jensen photo is very nice--no matter how much Jensen himself may regret those "twink" photo sessions he did in his foolish youth. :D

I think Jensen is embarrassed that he was so damned pretty in his youth - when I got a pic signed in Rome he said something about "Thank God, a photo where I don't look twelve!"
Me on the other hand, is very grateful for his youthful beauty!!
