Cosmic Cas and Dean!

I love Gimp brushes and these cosmic ones are awesome!
Apologies to the brush creator, I can't remember who you were but I downloaded them from this excellent website

Oooooh! I totally like. Very psychadelic :) I have no idea if I spelled that right...

Lovely choice for Dean especially.

How do you know which brushes to get?I like the grunge look. But since I am a beginner should I go with a different kind? And what about textures?

I'm probably not the best person to give you advice as I only found out about brushes about a week or two ago!
I've downloaded lots of different ones - dirt, grunge, clouds, light effects, floral designs, borders, all sorts. As they are all free, why not?
So far I have used the dirt to smudge things, some of the borders, oh and there is a Supernatural set somewhere that has some cool kind of shadowy things like the impala and the guys running. If I can find the link my friend gave me for that set I'll send it onto you.
I'd say, just download a few different ones and have a play with them to see what sort of effects you can create and you will probably start to get some more ideas out of doing that.
