Among many things you thought you'd never say.

He's under cover (just!) but the wind was still blowing dust and dead leaves around, plus I can't get to both sides of him easily so I'm just hoping that a) I've now got all his paintwork covered and b) there are no obvious drips. And LJ is deleting all the code for embedding gifs again. What the fuck, Live Journal?

Brit Spring - lovely - not! As for lj deleting code - THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING TO ME FOR MONTHS! Putting a post out is a job of work, so much work, at the moment.

How are you getting around the problem? You've been posting gifs ok, haven't you? I just can't get it to post them at all at the moment. I tried posting in DW too but the same thing happened.

Have you tried using the non html editor to embed them first? I've also been cheating and uploading to my photoscrapbook on lj, taking the links and pasting them into the Archive's rich text editor, then copying the whole lot across to lj. Like i said work.

If you use the html editor to post usually, try using the easy editor first. That's been allowing me to upload most gifs, with a little tweaking etc.
