I kind of feel I should apologise - I keep gifting you with not very good art because I fail at planning ahead and so end up doing your birthday pressies at the last minute. Oh well. It's green, and it's Sam so I hope you forgive the scrappiness my dear quickreaver! LOL

I love this! "No reference" reads to me as wonderfully stylized, because you can definitely tell who it is--not in that "I recognize this face" sense but in that "I know, at some deep and indelibly Sam/JP level, who this is." The play of light is especially gorgeous, and I love the weightlessness of his hair underwater. Excellent work!

Thanks - I love Sam level... I think I'll have to tell myself any distortion I'm seeing is because of the water. Right? LOL
