I was very taken with this summergen ficlet that has now been revealed as being by ratherastory, and the final scene haunted me.
Pic is spoilery for the fic (obviously!)
A scrappy sketch in GIMP with some sandstorm brushing and an overlay lighting effect using a texture by letzte-Regen.

I haven't read the fic yet, but the art is lovely! I love the light/color tones, and the way Dean's stance grounds him even though the whole setting is cloudy. And, of course, the flying Samhair.
