Eyes and Olympics

Spent all morning at the eye clinic (they are the most inefficient bunch of well meaning people ever!) with the net result being I'm back on the strongest steroid eye drops so will fail any drug tests for the Olympics (lucky they don't test spectators, eh?) and also have to take the anti virals 5 times a day for at least a week.  *sigh*

On the plus side, there is this awesome video.  (For those of you who don't know, Boris is the Mayor of London, and renowned for being an idiot).

Hope your eyes get better really, really soon, my friend. What are they even calling that? Some sort of sclera inflammation?

Just the aftermath of the shingles (which is a variety of the herpes virus like smallpox and chickenpox).

Maybe I should be taking Herpexia! LOL

Sounds itchy! And YES! Herpexia solves just about anything, especially if Sam's the one applying it ;)

mmm it would be worth the fuzzy vision and irritation if Sam and Dean came round to put my eye drops in! Yes please...

LOL, yes it is just as well they don't test spectators. Can you imagine what they would come up with?

I plan on living vicariously through you for the next few weeks, so be prepared!

Well I've only got tickets for Handball and Volleyball (couldn't get athletics tickets - missed out in the draw then the ones that came up afterwards were too bloody expensive)...though the hubster has the week of the athletics off work so I expect we'll be glued to the telly!
