I had a moment there with Jensen because he didn't have a clue what I was talking about when I asked him to blow his fingers. I'd been hoping I'd get him to wear the hat...
Amazing photos! I don't think I could get my brain to function properly in such a photo opp to be able to stand there, let alone come up with any creative ideas!
I do a lot of thinking beforehand then usually everything gets scuppered by me being so nervous I'm inarticulate (especially as the organisers are shouting at you to hurry up!). But most of these ended up how I wanted, or close enough.
These pictures are all really fantastic and I'm so jealous because it looks like the handlers at the JIB convention are much MUCH more lenient than the ones at the Creation conventions. I've ony been to the convention in Vancouver and they hardly let you talk to the guys at all during the photo ops. They don't allow poses or props or anything. In fact, the lst time I went you weren't even allowed to ask for a hug. They just want you to jump in, flash the picture, and jump out. Your photos make me want to go to the JIB convention for the photo op alone!!!
Oh it was loads of hassle and shouting to get moving, no hugs and even the boys were getting shouted at - but somehow when you look at everyone's photos, there are poses and hugs and all sorts. My friend had Sebastian throw her over his shoulder in a fireman's carry...!
I think most people just ignored the organisers (including the boys - or especially the boys).
i saw loads at JIB way better than mine! People have the best ideas and the boys seem more than willing to do whatever... when they are not being told off too much anyway!
Hey! Don't pick on me... LOL. Everyone was using flash - every time I stopped I could see all the flashes going off over my shoulder so I thought what the hell. Were you the photographer lady who was crawling round on the floor?
hahahaha i know it was impossible try to control them
nop that lady was francesca, one of the organizers .. i was the dog standing by the microphone line near the doors (honestly i don't even remember telling you to turn off the flash,it was just a joke ghghghgh)
seeing your photos i recognised you, and since many times you wrote comments for my paintings i thought to say hello properly
Ah right, I think I remember you lurking in the darkness...
That is actually one of the nicest things about JIB, that generally you don't get all draconian on our asses. Creation from what I remember were much more strict and formal.
Well if I go next year we must introduce each other properly (I really hop I will be able to go again - I love Rome too so it's such a great combination!)
