I wasn't sure I'd have time to to do a fill for tricycleman but - it's septembers_coda 's birthday tomorrow (not today - idjit!), so I thought I should make a bit of an effort. For her charming love story Seeing Everything, here's Leo and his fairytale castle for Monalisa.

If you think he looks a tad like Ben Wishart, you'd be right. Done mostly in Corel Painter Essentials and finished off in PS. One day I will learn how to paint properly in Corel.

awwww, Amber! This is AWESOME. Leo is perfect-- just how I pictured him, even though, other than mentioning he had glasses and was shorter than Monalisa, I don't think I ever described him. And I love the castle, it's unreal flavor with appropriate urban background, and the code!!! You rock. So glad to have this in Tricycleman, and I will repost my story with this attached when I get a chance. <3 <3

Balls I'm a day early! I thought it was 15th today - doh. Mind you, I've been a year ahead on several other things lately - keep creating photo albums on Facebook with 2016 instead of 2015 so I suppose only a day in advance isn't too bad. Oh and I posted birthday greetings for a German friend a week early the other day - got told off because apparently in Germany it's considered very unlucky!

No worries; I like spreading out the celebration! Silly to tell someone off for being early; even if it was a cultural norm for me, I think I'd refuse to go there. :-P And I do that kind of thing at the end of every year on LJ: schedule things for 11 and a half months in the past instead of a week or two in the future. So yeah. A day early is great. PLUS TRICYCLEMAN, yaay!

OCD note: I can't bear that I made my least-favorite grammar error in my original comment, and now I can't edit it because it has responses!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I do not use the wrong "it's"! Indulge me and pretend you can't see that apostrophe, everyone. :-P

Ha ha that happens to me a lot - I typo it's loads and just typo generally in comments and hate it when I can't edit!

Oh and I think you mention him having untidy dark hair, early thirties, and when I was googling images Ben popped up (sans glasses but I knew he looked well cute in them as Q, so...). I'm glad you think this fits!

This is so lovely--I loved the burnished tones to everything here; it's so rich even with such a dark palette. Milly's "sumptuous" is definitely an apt descriptor. And Leo looks fantastic! I'm looking forward to reading SC's fic that goes with this!
