Oh my god, I love this. a) what a fantastic idea and b) what great execution. I'm loving Linda and Dean and Sam are giving me feelings. Also Abaddon's pose is awesome. Can't wait to see the final piece.

She does... I mean, after that gloriously awesome entrance, I haven't been enamoured with what they've done with Rowena on the show lately (basically I think the slowburn of her character arc is too slow and they've taken the momentum out of her menace) but I absolutely LOVE the style of Ruth's artistic expression, I think her screen presence is just something that draws you in, and once they let her talk a smidge less unafraid of the inability of American views to understand anything except 'Da English' without subtitles, it became much more natural and charismatic. I just wish they'd made her a much more portent and credible threat towards the Winchesters instead of sticking her in the Crowley B-Plot to languish her delicious evil street cred away.
Ah well, sorry for going of on a tangent with that. Apparently I have feelings.

Indeed, I feel like they've only used him as idle filler to give J2 time off, when he and his should be driving the evil out. I do realize that they can't make him too much of a threat without siccing the Winchesters on him for real, but seriously, the monkey court politics lessons bore me to tears sometimes and that's a disservice to his character and Crowley's exemplary record as not-the-bad-guy. I hope it picks up momentum for the rest of the season.
