Could this be the Tweet that launched a thousand dirty fanfics? I don't know why, but I immediately thought of tebtosca and Straight to the Boathouse...*snigger*

So - was Jared buying guitar stuff for Jensen, or for himself because Jensen is giving him guitar lessons...or was he there giving Jensen moral support while Jensen was shopping for his own guitar stuff?
And while we are at it, as a total aside - has anyone written fanfic where J2 are 70s cops ala Starsky & Hutch, and if not, why the hell not?

It would be one hell of a job replacing the original guitar nut with this. A job for a luthier. Only guitarists gigging regularly would really feel the benefit. Learners and predominently home players wouldn't really need ut. My guess is that Jared came across it and it amused him.

Fic inspiring is always good.
But why reduce them to their harmless real purpose when there are so many cracktastic ways to play with the words out of context. I mean, I'm sure he wasn't just posting that pic because he thought cool helpful guitar tool. ^^

Of course he wasn't. Nobody in their right mind would turn down such a juicy double entendre, what? I was responding to speculation about his guitaring abilities, though I doubt that's why he tweeted the pic.

I can't believe that no one realized and went with the whole, Jared was being dirty when he made his tweet about lubricated nuts... I mean it was a smack in the face that he was being sexual about nuts. lol

I have not found a starsky and hutch fic... I don't know if i could write one either... so much crack.

I am going to go with the Jensen is giving Jared guitar lessons (even though Jared knows how to play or can play a little guitar already) and he sent Jared out to get buy some supplies.
