JIBCON - My photo ops
Forgot to post these yesterday and as I'm awake so early (dammit!) I may as well do it now.
Being careful of poor Jared's bad shoulder, Daniela had him sitting down for the doubles so I couldn't do my original idea. This was the best I could come up with after some frantic rethinking in the queue! Ha ha ha! And of course I had no idea what faces the boys were pulling until I saw the print. Pretty priceless.
Jensen seemed to be in an awesomely good mood all weekend, and looking at everyone's ops spread out on the collection tables, people were getting some amazing pics.
I didn't have to say more than two words to get my angel whammy, they both got into this one in a flash! Of course, neither me or Jensen will now be able to poop for a week.
I got tired of myself so had this one taken without me in it. Misha's face is a picture, no?
Poor Jared did look very tired all weekend, and was definitely a bit subdued after his dislocated shoulder on the Sunday. BUt a friend of mine talked to him in the photo ops and he told her he hadn't taken his pain meds - what an idjit. Hopefully someone stuffed a few down him later in the day.
I gather some folks haven't yet heard the full story of Jared's injury and why Gen's response was something like 'you are just an eight year old, aren't you..'
So here's a cut down version of the story Osric told us. Jared was bored in the Green Room and wanted to wrestle someone - Ty wasn't having any of it, so Osric (known henceforth as Master Chau) said he was up for it. Then Jared went for him like a man mountain. I think at one point the little guy was wrapped round Jared like an octopus. Anyhow, I can't remember the blow by blow retelling (hopefully that will be on Youtube because it was hilarious) but after much bouncing on and off sofas, and Osric desperately trying not to get squished to death, he managed to turn them around which meant jared went down and he was the one to hit the floor with Osric on top of him. Which was just as well for Osric, as Jared would probably have crushed the wee lad. Sadly Jared landed on his elbow which pushed his arm up, dislocating his shoulder. Clif popped it back in for him, but apparently Jared managed to pop it out again more thoroughly later on because he was daft enough to try stretching the joint.

Will you do a Con report when you have time? I was really wondering how Ty was this Con? If he stayed sober? He has been a bit scary at some of the Creation ones until he got booted. I like Ty a lot, I'm hoping he'll see he has a bit of a problem with this one year warning and deal with it. I'd love to see him back on the North American circuit.
It must be so nice to go to a Con Creation doesn't have it's claws into.
