Before I start - new layout is suddenly here! And it's great for my short-sighted self as it's kind of LARGE.

Right, back to the important things - 100 Days of Happiness continues with Day 67. Yes I know I haven't posted all the intervening days here but I'm too lazy to do two catch up posts. One of Facebook is enough! LOL

Arrived at the Hilton and bumped into one of the show's biggest stars in the car park. Naturally we took the opportunity to get to know her. And get free photo ops.

OMG, that is SO. AWESOME!!! Least intimidating fan encounter I can imagine, though I would still be scared to touch her. Is that you in the top one? You look so happy and cute! <3

Also, could ANYONE afford to drive that car in England where petrol is so spendy? I'd drive 5 miles and that would drain my whole bank account. :-}

Hah hah before I started watching SPN I'd have been looking at a car like this and thinking - gas-guzzler! Yes that's me hanging off her door handle - of course Dean was inside, trying to hide from all the fan girls!

Ah, poor Dean, anxiously watching his baby get pawed! ;-) Well, I guess the cost of gas doesn't matter when you buy it with stolen credit cards. Sam and Dean probably buy more gas than anyone else in America. Except maybe truck drivers.

Jut before we turned up the owner had been letting people sit in her! She isn't one used in the show of course, but belonging to some classic car enthusiast. The owner wasn't around by the time we got our cameras and went out there, I doubt the Con organisers realised she was there! LOL

When I was young, my mom drove a 1969 chevy Impala. It was white, and so rusted apart that there was a literal HOLE in the floor of the back seat. I'm not kiding, we could throw trash down onto the road through it. A) we were kids!!! Watching trash disappear through that hole was WAAAAAY more exciting than caring about the environment and B) Holy cow, how things have changed... no car seats, and a giant rusted hole? My mom didn't even bat an eyelid.

I knew she was going to be here but wasn't expecting her to he sitting in front of the hotel from day one - I bet Wayne (the organiser) was spitting feathers at losing all the photo op money!
