I was very taken with this summergen ficlet and the final scene haunted me.

A scrappy sketch in GIMP with some sandstorm brushing and an overlay lighting effect using a texture by letzte-Regen.

Aw thank you. It was so sketchy I'd wondered about posting it but I kind of liked it so...very glad you did too! And the fic was so beautifully written, wasn't it?
