Eeee thanks for such a wonderful comment - I'd come to the story fresh from seeing Maggie Smith in the Lady in the Van (if you haven't seen it, go watch it, it's a wonderful film) so it's great the you got such a strong impression of Hobo!Sam! That was exactly what I was hoping for. \0/
