Indeed, I feel like they've only used him as idle filler to give J2 time off, when he and his should be driving the evil out. I do realize that they can't make him too much of a threat without siccing the Winchesters on him for real, but seriously, the monkey court politics lessons bore me to tears sometimes and that's a disservice to his character and Crowley's exemplary record as not-the-bad-guy. I hope it picks up momentum for the rest of the season.
