Origin - a drabble
Apropos of nothing, a drabble. 100 words about SPN.
Origin
It starts with Mary burning on a ceiling.
Except it doesn’t.
It really starts with hurt and rage, the jealousy of a favoured son convinced he’s being scorned. It begins with a fall from grace, and innocents suffer, the way innocence always does in a war.
Because somewhere along the way, that’s what it became. A war. A battle for supremacy between Heaven and Hell, with humanity caught in between.
The thing is, perhaps it doesn’t really matter where or why it began. What really matters is where it will end.
And who will end it.
Sam and Dean Winchester.
